Video Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to play the videos?
You must have Windows Media Player, version 7.0 or above, installed on your computer to view the clips. Download the player here.

Can I watch the video if I’m using a low-speed connection?
Yes, but the video may be slow and will probably pause several times.

Why is the video Freeze-Frame or Choppy?
You may not have enough bandwidth to support your chosen connection speed. Please start the video again and choose the lower connection speed.

I’m having problems playing the videos. What should I do?
Make sure the Windows Media Player is installed correctly and that you have restarted your web browser. If you have further problems, Microsoft provides an extensive support section for Windows Media Player

Why won’t the sound work?
Make sure you have a soundcard, speakers or headphones, and check to see that your volume is turned on. If all else fails, download Windows Media Player again and, if necessary, contact your Internet Service Provider for support.

Can I make the size of the video any larger?
Yes. Windows Media Player allows you to "zoom" the size of the video window up to 200%. After you start to play the video, the Windows Media Player window will open. In that window, click on View, then Zoom, and click 200%. You can also drag the window in the bottom right corner to enlarge it even more: position your cursor at this corner until you see the double arrow. Click and drag to enlarge the window. (This will enlarge the video screen only if you've selected "Fit to Window" or "200%" in the options under View>Zoom.)

You can also select "Full Screen" from the View menu. With this view, the video clip will cover your entire monitor. Just press escape ("Esc" button on your keyboard in the top left corner) to exit Full Screen mode. Please note that you will lose sharpness and clarity of the video the more you enlarge it.
